We’re helping to keep children safe from the dangers of knife crime, bullying and internet grooming.
Once again we are among the sponsors of the Met Police’s Junior Citizen initiative aimed at 30,000 Year 6 pupils on London.
Our support will help finance a virtual training programme that reinforces messages they will have learned at a series of events across the capital.
Designed to engage and entertain the children, the Junior Life Skills programme is packed with information and advice on topics such as road safety, knife crime, bullying, first aid, healthy living and how to stay safe using the internet.
The Met’s Harvey Pitchford said: “By supporting this initiative you will help us achieve our primary objective to give children and young people the knowledge and skills to improve their lives, and maybe even save the life of a friend or classmate.
“Thank you for your generous support. Without it campaigns of this nature could never hope to succeed.”
